Why Wholesale Tie Dye Requires Lead Time
Hand-dyed garments go through multiple stages before they are ready to ship, including fabric preparation, folding, dye application, curing, and final inspection. Because Tie Dye Wholesaler produces orders as they are placed, the production schedule can fill quickly—especially during busy seasons such as spring and summer.
Recommended Planning Timeline
We always encourage our customers to plan ahead. Planning early allows room for:
-
Production scheduling
-
Shipping time to get the finished order to you
-
Design development and color sampling on custom projects
Ideally, we recommend wholesale customers plan their orders 3 weeks in advance, depending on order size and complexity. That allows for our average 2 week production time and up to a week for your order to travel to you.
You may want to allow extra time for orders over 5,000 pieces or summer orders (our busiest period). And custom orders may require additional time to create/dye prototypes before starting full production.
Why Can’t You Ship My Order Tomorrow?
We operate with a full production calendar. Production for orders is scheduled in advance and it is common for our production calendar to be booked one to two weeks out due to existing commitments to other wholesale customers. Made-to-order tie dye allows for a range of colors, patterns, and size assortments tailored specifically to your business – and delivering this level of customization requires planning and preparation.
Benefits of Ordering Early
Placing wholesale orders ahead of time helps ensure we give each order the attention it deserves without compromising craftsmanship. Good planning also helps avoid extra costs like rush fees or express shipping.
Planning ahead also guarantees that we can ship your order on the day we promise. We take our ship dates for each project very seriously – we hate nothing more than shipping your order even a day late. That creates a lot less stress for you and us!
Plan Ahead for Best Results
Wholesale tie dye is a handcrafted product, and great results depend on thoughtful scheduling. Planning ahead supports careful production, protects quality, and helps ensure your order arrives exactly when you need it. Most importantly, it allows us to show up as the reliable partner your project deserves.
