How Custom Designs Actually Work at Tie Dye Wholesaler

We are the best for custom dye projects! We love collaborating with our clients to create unique designs - more than 50% of our work is completely custom dye patterns and colorways.  Our process for custom dyes works like this:

• We’ve found that it’s best to kick off custom projects with a quick call at 855-819-3126, or you can send an email with your inspiration image and any specifications you have for colors, style, etc. to sales@tiedyewholesaler.com.  We may offer feedback on color combos (such as a yellow and purple infusion will just give you a brown shirt) or on ways to simplify a design to make it more cost effective. With a general sense of how many pieces you’d like to order, we can typically give you an accurate quote for the project cost at this time. 

• Once we understand what you are looking for, we’ll either confirm the colorway with swatches or we’ll create a sample for more complicated designs. It typically takes us 2-3 business days to complete a sample as many of our designs have to cure overnight.  

• When the sample has been completed, we’ll email you an image of the shirt for your feedback. Hopefully we nailed it on the first try, but we’re always happy to dial in the design so you get what you want.

• Once you’ve approved the sample, we’ll finalize the order confirmation, process payment, and get your shirt into production!

Custom jobs do have a 100 piece minimum order quantity. The sampling fee is $50/design, and we will credit $25.00 back when you place a full order of the sampled design. For those ready to place an order at the beginning of the process (typically returning customers who know the drill), we’ll waive the $50 sampling fee since you’ve already confirmed your order.
